Kipoito Logistics transports and hires out heavy equipment for construction, roads and farm projects, and serves clients across Kenya.
Its owner hails from Illasit, Kajiado South, where young people have talent, energy and ambition but very few places to put them. Heavy machinery builds the roads and buildings that open a place up. Backing young people builds the people who will run it. So the owner chose to stand behind the rural, underserved youth of home: a business that moves heavy loads for a living, helping to lift one of the heaviest off young shoulders, the sense that there is nothing to do and nowhere to go.
