Kimana Ward's MCA is backing the young people of his ward with a tournament of their own.

Hon. James Kuya Nina is the Member of County Assembly (MCA) for Kimana Ward in Kajiado County.

He is the title sponsor of the MCA Kuya Pool Tournament on Saturday 17 October 2026 at Osupuko Resort (Kwa Biwott) in Kimana, putting up KES 34,000 in prize money for the top five players. The tournament is also the grand opening of Moran Pool Club, a new home for the game in Kimana.

Backing from local leaders tells young people that their community sees them, and that a pool table can be a place of sport and pride rather than suspicion.
